CECALAIT proposes many services to laboratories, which contribute in the improvement of the quality of physico-chemical and microbiological analysis results, such as:
- standard reference materials (SRMs) for the control or calibration of analysis methods, whose value is determined by expert laboratories,
- proficiency tests.
CECALAIT is accredited by COFRAC according to the LAB CIL REF 02 standard for its activity as a physico-chemical and microbiological proficiency test organiser (scope available at www.cofrac.fr).

CECALAIT makes it easier for laboratories to gain access to information thanks to :
- the supply of documents from a bibliographical reference bank,
- the diffusion of CECALAIT's Newsletter giving details of developments in analytical techniques, and evolutions in standardisation and regulations at national and international levels.
•
CECALAIT carries out training on analytical techniques and laboratory quality assurance on site or in Poligny, as well as technical evaluations. |

EVALUATION OF MATERIALS AND REAGENTS |

Acting on behalf of the Scientific and Technical Commission of the Ministry of Agriculture, CECALAIT evaluates the analysers which are to be authorised for use in milk payment.
CECALAIT proposes material and reagent evaluations to suppliers. CECALAIT is also recognized by AFAQ AFNOR Certification as an expert laboratory.
CECALAIT is accredited by COFRAC for the realisation of chemical and microbiological tests on milk and dairy products. |
